UMR Right is directed by Pr Olivier Adotévi and co-directed by Pr Francine Garnache-Ottou. It associates the Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale (INSERM), the Université de Franche-Comté and the Etablissement Français du Sang de Bourgogne Franche-Comté (EFS-BFC).

UMR RIGHT
RIGHT (Regulation of Immunity for therapeutic innovation in Graft, Host, Tumoral and inflammatory associated diseases) is interested in the immunological relationships
between a patient and his graft or his tumor. A better understanding of these interactions allows the development of new treatments based on cell and gene therapy approaches
to modulate the immune system in order to prevent graft rejection or, on the contrary, to induce tumor elimination. The modulation of chronic inflammatory diseases by
biotherapies (complex biological drugs) is also a research axis of the unit. Right is also interested in the identification of biomarkers in chronic inflammatory diseases and
cancers.
UMR RIGHT works in several areas of medical research such as :
- Immune responses
- Physiopathology of autoimmune diseases
- Complications related to transplantation (bone marrow, kidney)
- Blood transfusion
- Autophagy and the anti-tumor immune response
- Anti-cancer immunotherapies (peptide vaccination, CAR-T cells, transgenic TCR)
- Biomarkers
Located in the TEMIS health cluster of the Hauts du Chazal in Besançon, UMR RIGHT is involved in :
