TAI-IT team - Mr.

Team “Transplantation, Autoimmunity and Inflammation” – TAI-IT

Led by Professors Yann Pellequer, and Didier Ducloux, the TAI-IT team focuses on a deeper understanding of the immunological mechanisms underlying graft rejection, those involved in the initiation and maintenance of autoimmune and/or inflammatory diseases, as well as the mechanisms driving the inflammatory response and its resolution. This improved understanding aims at evaluating and implementing more appropriate therapeutic approaches for these pathophysiologies, while also fostering the development of innovative therapies that target key players in these contexts or help restore control over harmful inflammatory reactions.

To achieve this, the team benefits from the expertise of numerous clinicians engaged in different research groups, providing access to patients and biological resources specific to these diseases, as well as from researchers skilled in a wide range of experimental and biological models. Thus, the TAI-IT team is fully dedicated to improving the treatment of these conditions and to proposing new, innovative therapies based on these research efforts.
